Cha Cha Cha

Last night my friends Jessica, Shanna, and I went to a restaurant in San Francisco called Cha Cha Cha's. They told me I needed to broaden my horizons and try new things. I was a bit hesitant because it was Cuban food, but it was sooo great! Its the type of place where you order like 4 things and everyone shares. We also got a pitcher of Sangria....lets talk a bit about that. Sangria gets you drunk. I was drunk. I knocked an entire glass of Sangria all over my outfit. It gave us a good laugh! We were probably the most obnoxious people in the restaurant because we were loud and wouldn't stop taking pictures! The night was going well, and the server didnt charge us for $25 pitcher of Sangria so we were stoked! But then Shanna lost her iphone and the night came to an end! Oh and do you like how Shanna and I wore matching jackets?? HAHA That was NOT planned!

Professional Wedding Pictures are In!

My cousin Mark did the photography for our wedding. He did a great job. If only my bridesmaids would have done a better job of making sure I looked ok. Out of all the girls in my wedding, I had the worst hair and makeup! I WILL NEVER recommend the girl who I hired to make me pretty on my wedding. I want to cry because majority of my pics are terrible because of my stupid hair! Thank God Mark gave me 890 pictures to choose from! :)

Adoption Story

Last night Aaron and I hooked up the speakers to our new computer. Since I blog from work majority of the time, I have never had access to sound. So I got all computer happy last night and started watching people's videos on their blogs. I kid you not, I watched 11 videos about Heather aka Whittaker Woman and her husband Carlos aka Carlos Whittaker and their trip to adopt their son, Losiah from Korea. It was so amazing watching their journey. It really interested Aaron and I becaused Aaron's mom was adopted from Korea and we know nothing about her past. Losiah is so lucky that when he grows up, he will be able to watch the videos his parents made throughout their journey, and maybe a lot of questions he has will be answered. Check them out! They are on Carlos's page under My Son's Story!

Whatcha Know about the Pumpkin Spice Latte?

Pumpkin Spice Latte:
a delicious blend of pumpkin and traditional fall spice flavors combined with our signature espresso and freshly steamed milk, and topped with whipped cream and pumpkin pie spices

Now, I am the kinda girl who ALWAYS gets an iced coffee. It could be snowing, and I am drinking something cold! But today for some odd reason, I woke up and embraced the cold San Francisco weather. As I stood in the Starbucks line, I was drawn to the red cups. I thought of Christmas shopping and decorating my house for Christmas. I ordered for the first time ever, a tall Pumpkin Spice Latte. All I have to say is MUY DELICIOSO!! I think I found my new winter drink!

A little TLC never hurt!

This past weekend my hubby and I had the weekend to ourselves. Money has been extremely tight lately, and we have had to hold back on doing a lot of things we love. Sunday I was kind of down in the dumps and the hubs noticed. We went out to a cheapy breakfast and then he drove me to the nail salon. I told him we couln't afford it and he said he didn't care. So after going back and forth for a few, I got in the chair! It felt so good to have my toes done! The last time I had a pedicure was the day before our wedding on August 2! I don't mean to come off as a snob, but that was the first time in over 10 years that I went over 2 weeks without getting a pedi! It just felt really good to feel pretty again! Thanks babe!

Happy Halloween!!

Our 2 kids during Halloween!!

Starbucks Anyone????

Christian and I go to Starbucks together. That is our thing. It was so cute trying to teach him to remember the name of the place. We have been going there together since we met eachother more than 2 years ago. He always tells the cashier that he will take a kids coffee....and then I say, how about a kids hot chocolate? What do you do with your kids that is "your thing?"

Long day!

Today I had a really long day and I am just exhausted. I worked from 8-5 today and then at 5:05 got picked up by Antonia and went to San Jose for a Pampered Chef meeting. I didnt get home until 10! Then, I walk in my house and I smell something foul. I discover that Leila peed and pooped all over the kitchen. So at 10:30 pm, I was mopping my kitchen floor. Now I am waiting for it to dry and I am just pooped. Poor Aaron worked all day too, but is at a side job and is still not done. Him and I are in need of sleep!
