Fiesta Fiesta!

SURPRISE! My husband's 30th Birthday is Saturday April 25. On April 11, I threw him a suprise party! The theme was a Mexican Fiesta!! The favors were bottles of Tapatillo with custom labels! Aaron's real name is Ignacio, and for short people call you Nacho! So on the hot sauce bottles I wrote "Na-Cho Average Sauce" and put the ingredients were hot and spicy! The cake was amazing. Our dear friend Shanna and her brother Danny made the cake and decorated it! It was "bean" themed and there was even a beaner bath instead of a bubble bath! It was soooo hilarious! There was a huge turnout at his party filled with family and friends. We had a great time and I am so glad I was able to suprise my hubby! I couldnt have done it without Aaron's BFF Anthony and my friends Sandra and Jessica! Thanks guys!!

Christian's 5th Birthday Party!

Today is my Steppie's 5th Birthday! It seems like just yesterday that he was still wearing diapers and drinking out of a sippy cup! I met Christian when he was a tiny 2 year old. The first time I saw him, he waved and all he could mutter out was "hi"!! Now we can't get him to stop talking! =) He has grown so fast and has turned in to such a little man! His every move reminds me of his Dad. I am honored to be his Step Mom and I am excited to experience many more birthdays with him! Happy Birthday little Bean!

Moving On!

Yesterday I quit my job and walked out. I have been at the same company for over 2 years and yesterday I broke. I dont want to go into the long story of why, but lets just say that I was sick and tired of being belittled and put down my management. Now that it is over and done with, I am receiving calls and statements from management telling me I walked out for no reason and that nothing was ever done to insult me. They are basically acting like I am crazy. It kind of pisses me off because we all know how todays economy is. We all know from my previous blog posts that my husband is not consistantly working and that money is tight for us right now. So does it make sense that I would just walk out for no particular reason? I have never in my life quit a job like I did yesterday. I just wish for some reason that the owners would understand my view and my take on things. I feel relieved yet guilty at the same time. Relieved because I am finally out of the hell hole that I dreaded going to every single day for the past two years, and guilty because I chose my well being and my happiness over providing for my family. I am torn and I have been crying. I just wish that I knew what I did was ok. Has anyone ever felt so depressed over their job but stayed because it paid the bills?

The Greatest Place on Earth

From April 2-5 we went to Disneyland. We wanted to take Christian there for his 5th Birthday because he has never been there before! My Step dad Jim drove up from Fresno to meet us. We flew from SFO to LAX. It was a good experience flying with Christian for the first time and taking him to a place that he has never been before! Friday was awesome. We got to the park when it opened and there were no lines! Christian's first ride ever, was Pirates of the Caribbean and he didnt have to wait in a line! I knew it was going to be a great day after we walked right on! He was able to ride everything but Indiana Jones. He is 41 inches and most of the rides require you to be 40 inches! He freaked out in the Haunted Mansion and all of the 3D movies, but other than that, he LOVED the roller coasters! We are lunch at the Blue Bayou inside of the Pirates! It was sooo yummy and had a really cool atmosphere!
